If you have a persistent wound as a result of diabetes, poor circulation, burns, surgery or trauma, our Wound Treatment Center may be able to help. We use an interdisciplinary approach and comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Physician specialists, specialty nursing care, and lifestyle counseling services are included.
Risk Factors For Wounds That Don't Heal - Decreased blood flow to legs and feet - Neuropathy (burning, tingling or lack of sensation in feet) - Diabetes - Smoking - Poor nutrition - Immobility - Incontinence
Signs and Symptoms Of Non-Healing Wounds - Temperature or color change in feet - Pain when walking - Wounds of more than several weeks - Rash around wound site - Excessive swelling of legs - Poor or no pulses in feet or legs
