Delray Medical Center, a 493-bed acute care hospital that opened in 1982, serves as the hub of a busy 42-acre medical center.  Delray offers a vast array of specialized services, ranging from acute care to rehabilitation to psychiatric services.

Designated by the state as a level II trauma center for adults and children, Delray serves the trauma needs of south central Palm Beach County. Specially trained surgeons and nurses, surgical services and an eight-bed trauma intensive care unit are available 24-hours a day.

 Delray, part of Tenet South Florida, is fully accredited by The Joint Commission,licensed by the state of Florida and is approved for the acceptance of Medicare patients.
