Visiting Hours for all other patient care areas:

Visitor Guidelines

  • All visitors must enter the hospital through the main lobby located on the Linton Boulevard side or at the entrance to Pinecrest.
  • We ask all visitors to remain in the main lobby until visiting hours start.
  • All visitors to Delray Medical Center and Pinecrest Rehabilitation must sign-in at the Information Desk located at the main entrance of either area and obtain a guest pass. These passes are dated and a new pass must be obtained prior to each visit.
  • Children under 12 are not allowed to visit Delray Medical Center unless special arrangements are made and approved by the department nursing director and/or nursing supervisor. An accompanying adult visitor is responsible for providing proof of the child's age. Supervised children of all ages can visit Pinecrest Rehabilitation.
  • Smoking is not permitted on hospital grounds.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the patient's room when the physician or nurse stops by to administer treatment. There are waiting areas on each floor for visitors.
  • Courtesy phones are located in the main lobby of the hospital.
  • An automated teller machine (ATM) is located in the main lobby of the hospital.
  • Visitors should check with the patient's nurse before bringing any food to the hospital.
  • Service animals may accompany a visitor as long as the visit does not disturb other patients or their care in the unit.
  • No more than two visitors at a time may visit a patient. Your cooperation is appreciated.
  • Visits from relatives and friends can play an important part in your recovery. Nevertheless, if you do not want visitors during your stay, please tell your nurse.

Guest Parking

  • Parking is free in all parking areas on the hospital campus.
  • The main parking area is located north of the hospital (Linton Boulevard), with additional parking to the east (Military Trail), and parking is available at Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital (back of hospital).
