Heart Health Resources
Services
The Heart Center offers a wide range of resources to treat routine and complex cardiovascular cases. Our services include diagnostic testing, catheterization, open heart surgery, minimally-invasive surgical techniques, and general cardiovascular care.
Diagnostic Technology & Non-Invasive Procedures
128 Slice CT Multi-Scanner
The 128 Slice CT takes multiple X-rays called “slices” and combines them on a computer screen to identify blockages in the arteries.

Three Cardiac Catheterization Labs
Cardiac catheterization – also called an angiogram – is a common non-surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat heart problems.
Angioplasty
Angioplasty is performed in a catheterization lab and is used to open blocked arteries. We perform coronary and peripheral artery angioplasty.
Stent
A stent is a device that is inserted into a blocked blood vessel in order to reopen the artery and allow blood to flow freely.
Other Diagnostic Services:
- Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring
- Echocardiography
- EKG (Electrocardiogram)
- Exercise Stress Tests
- Holter Monitor
- Nuclear Stress Tests
- Peripheral Angiography
- Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound
- Stress Tests
Open Heart Surgery
If medical and non-invasive approaches are not an option for treating some cardiovascular conditions, open heart surgery may be recommended. Established in 1986, our Open Heart Surgery Program includes an experienced team of cardiovascular experts, including cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac nurses, nurse practitioners and experienced technicians. We perform “off-pump” coronary artery bypass, graft surgery and more.
