Is It A Heart Attack? Read The Signs.

A heart attack can occur suddenly and with great intensity, but often it starts slowly, with only mild discomfort. This makes it easy to dismiss the signs, resulting in a delay of treatment. That’s why it’s important for everyone to know the symptoms and seek medical care immediately. Doing so really can save a life. If you or someone you love experiences one or more of these symptoms, call 911 right away.

  • Chest discomfort, including pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain
  • Pain or discomfort in other areas of the body such as the arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach
  • Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort
  • Other signs may include cold sweat, nausea or dizziness
