The lifesaving work of Delray's Trauma Center goes on 24 hours a day.
At times, the results of that work may seem miraculous, but miracles don't just happen. The Trauma Center has specially trained physicians, surgeons and nurses, with advanced skills. We're a state-designated Provisional Level I trauma center for adults and children in south Palm Beach County.
The Trauma Center has:
- 24-hour surgical capabilities
- a 14-bed Trauma Intensive Care Unit
- a 16-bed Trauma Step-Down Unit.
Once the immediate crisis has passed, the trauma team helps rebuild the lives of patients and families, all of whom suffer when trauma strikes. We treat patients and families with compassion and sensitivity.
We hope you never need our Trauma Center. We offer the following prevention advice to help you stay well. But should the worst happen, we're here to do our best for you.
