Delray Medical Center & Good Samaritan Medical Center Appoint Dr. Lloyd Zucker as Medical Director of Neurosurgery

Palm Beach County, Fla. – Dr. Lloyd Zucker is named Medical Director of Neurosurgery for Delray Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center.  In his new role, Dr. Zucker will collaborate with the medical staff to lead quality and programmatic development, including expansion of the neuro-oncology service line at Good Samaritan Medical Center, and the movement disorders program featuring Deep Brain Stimulation across the Palm Beach Health Network.

A graduate with honors of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Zucker was invited as an undergraduate to do research at the National Institute of Health. A neurosurgical residency followed his medical training at Rutgers University-University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at the University of Connecticut-Hartford Hospital. His extended training was completed by a fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of South Florida/ Tampa General Hospital.
