Delray Medical Center Nursing Team Wins Healthcare Professional of the Year from Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce

The Delray Medical Center nursing team recently was awarded the Hometown Heroes Award for the Healthcare Professional of the Year for 2020 from the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce.  People in the community vote on the award, and the nursing staff was honored for their dedication and commitment to patient care.  The mission of the chamber is to strengthen and advocate for the business interests of Delray Beach.  “This year more than ever, it means so much to our team to have our community recognize our nursing staff for their hard work, heroism and amazing dedication during this unprecedented pandemic,” said Maggie Gill, Chief Executive Officer of Delray Medical Center.  “We are thankful for all of the support we have received, and we want to remind our community that our hospital is safe, and they should not delay care for a new or urgent condition.”
