Dr. Peter B. Licata joins Delray Medical Center’s Governing Board

Delray Beach, FL - Delray Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter B. Licata to its Governing Board. Dr. Licata currently serves as the Regional Superintendent of the South Region of the Palm Beach County School District, overseeing 60 schools. He brings extensive leadership and educational experience to the board, having served in various district leadership roles and as the Principal of Olympic Heights High School and Boca Raton Community Middle School.

"I am excited to be a part of a great hospital that is recognized throughout the community for its services. This is an honor for me, and I will lead with a commitment to excellence," said Dr. Licata regarding his appointment.

Daniel Listi, CEO of Delray Medical Center, expressed his excitement about Dr. Licata's appointment, stating, "We are thrilled to have Dr. Licata join our Governing Board. His vast experience in leadership and education will be invaluable to our hospital as we continue to provide exceptional care to our patients."

Dr. Licata earned his Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Lynn University with a focus on preparing students for the 21st century workforce. He also served as adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where he taught courses preparing future school administrators. Dr. Licata and his wife, along with their four children and two grandchildren, are all native South Floridians.
