Marine biologist shares inspiring story for cervical cancer awareness month

Tanya Kamerman is a marine biologist. Part of the job that she loves requires scuba diving. All that was put on hold when her cervical cancer spread to her lungs. The good news is she’s back in the water, and sharing her inspiring story with CBS 12 News. She hopes she can raise awareness.

Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in women under 50 and January is cervical cancer awareness month.
